An updated terrific set of resources to explore.

JOHNSON: David W. Johnson and Frank P. Johnson (2014). Joining Together: Group Theory and Group Skills (ELEVENTH Edition). Pearson; paperback; ISBN = 978-0-13-267813-1.

Much of Johnson and Johnson is exercises and applications so don't worry that you will have reading overload.

Please be careful to obtain the correct editions (and the "right" Johnson brothers).
Used copies are available on everything.
