ON SUBMITTING ASSIGNMENTS
Dr. Susan Carol Losh

Short assignments and project milestones are usually submitted through the Discussion Board in our Blackboard site.
The rough draft (also final copy if there was not a rough draft) is submitted through the turnitin link in our Blackboard site.
The final copy is also submitted through turnitin.

Alas, I must start with the negatives:

I typically don't open email attachments, including document or html files.
I don't open embedded links in email.

There have been too many problems with computer viruses and hackers.

If you are in Tallahassee:
PLEASE DO NOT SLIDE MILESTONE 1 AND 2 PAPERS UNDER MY DOOR OR UNDER THE EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY & LEARNING SYSTEMS SUITE DOOR!

Papers slid under my door may or may not be placed on my desk--where I may not be able to find them. No one who has ever seen my desk would ever do that. Similar problems occur with materials slid under the EPLS suite door.

AN ADDITIONAL NOTE ON EMAIL: Widespread spam, hoaxes, phishing expeditions and viruses often spread through email using subject lines such as "hi" "hello" "hi there" "thanks" or "my test" or no subject heading at all. PLEASE USE SOME OTHER SUBJECT LINE. Like many others (perhaps you, too?) I will delete without opening any emails that have subject lines such as "hi" or "my assignment."

During the semester, I may ask for a copy of your work.

For example,  your presentation is posted to our Blackboard course site.

Sorry for the paranoia but I have been sent worms, bugs, klezzes, slammers, blasters, mydooms, "re"s, sobers, obscenities, eBay, Paypal, Sun Banks, CitiBank, etc. warnings and "reauthorization" phishing attempts, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (trust me: you DON'T want to know), and just about every common and uncommon malwear around. If you have heard of it, I almost certainly have been sent it.

Thank you kindly!
