Biography
Lorri Mon is an Associate Professor at Florida State University, and earned an MLIS from the University of Michigan and Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Washington at Seattle. She teaches in the Reference and Information Services specialization area of the Master's program, including courses in basic reference, virtual reference services, social media management, and government information.
Dr. Mon's research areas include digital intermediation, e-government, digital reference and new technologies in information services. She has conducted research on information services and digital intermediation in chat reference, e-mail reference, social media and virtual worlds.
