Joseph Connors
I am an electrical engineer turned economist. I was born and raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. After high school I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for college and subsequent work as an electrical engineer. Sometime later I stumbled upon the subject of economics and figured I would pursue a Ph.D. I left for Florida and spent four years completing my Ph.D.

My next stop was the political science department at Duke University. I spent two years at Duke and then a year at Wake Forest University as a visiting assistant professor in the economics department. For two years I was an assistant professor at Saint Leo University and now I am an assistant professor in the economics department in the Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise at Florida Southern College.
