PFC Anthony Warren Simmons, Posthumous, US Army, graduated from Godby High School
in 2003. Anthony played on the Soccer Team and was manager of the Mighty Cougars Baseball Team. Anthony was a Tallahassee Community College student and then served the United States of America from 2008 until 2010 as an Infantry Soldier, TOW Missile Operator/240B, Machine Gunner in the 101st Airborne Division, 2-327 Infantry Regiment, D Co. Anthony was promoted to Team Leader in 2010. PFC Anthony Simmons made the ultimate sacrifice for his Country in Afghanistan on July 8, 2010. |
