Basketball

Ashley Parker '04, Midway College, was named to the 2008 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-conference Team. She was recognized as KIAC player of the week November 12-18, 2007, and holds all-time school records of more than 1,350 rebounds and 240 steals.

Football

Six former Cougar Football players played in bowl games in 2004-2005. Brian Johnson '02 of LSU and Edmond Miles '02 of Iowa played against each other in the Capital One Bowl in Orlando.

Del Roberts '04 – North Carolina – Continental Tire Bowl in Charlotte
Landel Bembo '03– Syracuse – Champs Bowl in Orlando
Marcus Clayton '03– Syracuse – Champs Bowl in Orlando
Reggie Davis, '03 – NC State, Bowl Game 2004
Brian Johnson, '02, became the 4th Cougar to play for a National Championship, his team, LSU won the Championship with a victory over Oklahoma, January 2004.
Edmond Miles, '02 – Iowa, Bowl Game 2004
Jarvis Adams, '00 – Northwestern, Bowl Game 2004
Travis Fisher '97 of the St. Louis Rams – NFL playoffs. Every time he is on TV and he is introduced, he says he is from Godby High School instead of the customary college affiliation.
Buck Gurley, '96, played for Florida in the 1996 National Championship.
Chris Vaughn, '94 – Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Coach – Arkansas
Steve Gilmer, '90, played for Florida State in the 1993 National Championship.
Sammy Knight, '77, played for FAMU in the 1978 National Championship.
