Godby Athletes in the News Basketball Ashley Parker '04, Midway College, was named to the
2008 Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference
All-conference Team.
She was recognized as KIAC player of the week November 12-18, 2007, and holds all-time school records of more than 1,350 rebounds and 240 steals. Edmond Miles, '02 – Iowa, Bowl Game 2004 Jarvis Adams, '00 – Northwestern, Bowl Game 2004 Travis Fisher '97 of the St. Louis Rams – NFL playoffs. Every time he is on TV and he is introduced, he says he is from Godby High School instead of the customary college affiliation. Buck Gurley, '96, played for Florida in the 1996 National Championship. Chris Vaughn, '94 – Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Coach – Arkansas Steve Gilmer, '90, played for Florida State in the 1993 National Championship.
