COSSPP Alumnus establishes FSU’s first endowed Political Science Professorship

The professorship was made possible through the generous support of Thomas Henderson, an alumnus of Florida State University's Political Science program (B.S. ’74). The Henderson Professorship of Political Science is the first of its kind within FSU’s Department of Political Science and is helping the department to meet its goal of creating three endowed professorships by 2025.

"I am honored and humbled to have been selected as the inaugural Henderson endowed chair. This support will enable me to further my work in sustainability and governance, explore new research opportunities, support students, and promote research and teaching excellence at FSU. I can’t wait to start."
