The goals attributed to the Seekers by residents who claim protection
from them appear to be oriented toward protecting the residents of Chicago from exploitation and abuse from both he city and organized crime.
Known Allies
None. Several gangs in the regions reporting Seeker activity claim to be sanctioned by them. These street gangs appear to be less oriented toward violence and have shown a trend toward vigilantism and local patrolling. Suspect that activities attributed to Seekers are result of these gangs or other individuals capitalizing on a convenient urban myth.
Known Enemies
Actions against various factions within the Mafia and other organized crime syndicates have been attributed to the Seekers. The Seekers have also been given the credit for certain actions against individuals and street gangs which have threatened several districts in Chicago.
Miscellaneous Information
Very little information is available pertaining to the group
identified as the Seekers. The data which is available is mostly gleaned from rumor and hearsay and has thus far proven unverifiable. Residents of the areas in which the Seekers are supposed to be active have proven reluctant to speak about their alleged benefactors.
Techniques associated with Seeker activity include assassinations, covert strikes, blackmail and extortion. Indications are that many of the occurance for which the Seekers are credited with were in fact carried out by the criminal faction which calls itself the Hooders or other independent covert operatives.
