Graham O'Donnell

I am a first-year Ph.D. student, ready to begin my graduate school experience with Dr. Wing’s group!

I graduated from Florida State University in 2022 with double Honors and a triple degree in meteorology, physics, and applied mathematics. Including dual enrollment, this will be my eighth year at FSU. My first undergraduate research project mathematically examined turbulence with Dr. Jon Ahlquist. However, most of my undergraduate research was in physics, where I primarily worked with Dr. Jorge Piekarewicz studying problems in nuclear physics. Ultimately, I chose to return to meteorology for its more tangible and impactful real-world applications. I was selected for a Legacy Fellowship to pursue graduate work at FSU.

I am a (so far) lifelong Tallahassee resident. Outside of academics, my main hobbies include running, cycling, and amateur astronomy.
