RHODES BORN SEPT. 16, 1827 DIED OCT. 24, 1867 There is a grave located between the grave of Bricey and the grave of Asa (which follows), but the stone was broken off and removed. ASA J. RHODES BORN APRIL 12, 1857 DIED JULY 14, 1877 Asa’s grave has the hand and chain inscription. The grave is covered with a homemade brick cover which is raised about a foot. There is a marble marker at the foot of the covered grave. The head of grave is marked with an iron marker which is about 1 ½ ft. high. A brick sits at the front of this iron marker.
