Molly Reid (a doctoral student in music theory) will be providing free undergraduate music theory tutoring this semester.
Cawthon tutoring is available to non-Cawthon residents as well: just ring the front desk from the main entrance, say you're there for tutoring, and they'll let you in. If you are sick or otherwise unable to attend in person, tutoring is also available through Zoom. Please e-mail Molly the HW assignment in question and let her know approximately when you plan on attending. Always remember that "tutoring" does not mean "doing your homework for you." You are welcome to ask questions, work together on some workbook problems that are not part of the assignment, get feedback on a practice quiz, etc. However, you should not ask a tutor (or anyone else) to give you an answer or to proofread your homework before you turn it in. Please show your appreciation for Luis's valuable service by not putting him in an uncomfortable position. If you wish to receive credit for attending tutoring, you must bring your corrected assignment(s) in order to review the mistakes. Also, it is your responsibility to provide the tutor with your name and section so that the credit can be reported back to your instructor. |
