Newspaper articles

The following are a few of my favorite of the newspaper articles I've written. Most of them were scripted initially for the Tallahassee Democrat, and those written between February 1995 and August 1997 were published as part of my "America in Context" column in the Sunday Comment section. Many of these articles were carried on the national Knight-Ridder wire and were reprinted in such papers as the Atlanta Constitution, Miami Herald, Baltimore Sun, Houston Chronicle, Charlotte Observer, and in papers in Virginia, California, Connecticut, Nebraska, Washington, and elsewhere. I hope you enjoy them.
