My research utilizes a geographical approach to analyze the spatial experiences of Romani victims of the Holocaust, including sites of mass execution by mobile killing squads, concentration camp internment, ghettoization, and deportation.
For an excellent study and application of Historical GIS see Dr. Beorn’s “A Geography of Complicity: Spaces and Mentalities in Wehrmacht participation in Einsatzgruppen Killings in the Soviet Union.”
