Dr. Shantanu Basu, Department Chair / Professor, Department
of Physics and Astronomy, University of Western Ontario, Canada,
class of 1982. Shantanu was class valedictorian, and
earned his Doctoral Degree from the University of Illinois at
Urbana in 1993. Shantanu has become world-renowned in the field
of astronomy and has authored nearly fifty publications in the field
of physics and astronomy, which have been cited more than 1,600
times. Dr. Basu specializes in the study of star formation. |
