Mr. Darius Jones, Godby High School Guidance Counselor
and Track Coach, class of 1996, spends the day coaching
students in the importance of making good grades and aspiring
for further education beyond their years, and then dons his coaching
shorts and heads for the track. An exemplary decathlete, his extraordinary
attention to technique makes Darius one of Florida’s best
field events coaches. Darius has coached five young Cougars to
State Championships, two triple jumpers, a long jumper, a shot putter
and a pole vaulter. |
