NOTE: This model is no longer available. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The compact CRDI interface uses the standard USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. The CRDI software is available for Windows operating systems (98, ME, 2000, XP), and Macintosh OS X.
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The interface plugs into any standard USB port available on today's computers (including laptop/notebook), and no complicated hardware installation is necessary. |
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
The dial
connector is compatible with the original CRDI interface so that the dials
you already own can be used with no modifications.
Up to 8 dials can be connected at the same time. |

The CRDI USB hardware
is based on a microprocessor that incorporates most key circuitries such
as A/D conversion, USB communications on a single chip. With its low
power requirement it can operate under the power available on USB
connection, and no external power connection is needed.
The firmware (program that is stored on the microprocessor chip), printed circuit board (PCB) and enclosure have been custom designed, fabricated and hand-assembled at CMR. |
