Stella Min is a Graduate Assistant at Florida State University, currently working toward her Ph.D. in Sociology with an emphasis in Demography. She graduated with her B.A. in Sociology and Economics from the University of Colorado Denver. She is most interested in populations and how they change over time, including by birth, aging, mortality, and cohabitation. Stella has received numerous fellowships and awards for her research, and most recently was named a 2016 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow. Her professional ambitions are limitless, and include potential futures working in government or academia. In particular, Stella has a passion for statistical methodology teaching and research. Personally, Stella enjoys baking, traveling, and going to the gym, and may someday be the host of her own Bed & Breakfast.
