The Index on the Florida State Archives web site is arranged by application file number and you have to search by using your browsers "Find" function. The listing here is arranged alphabetically and broken into smaller pieces so that you do not have to wait for the large file to load. It includes the veteran's name, his unit of service, state of service (if other than Florida), widow's first and maiden name, county from which the application was filed, and the year of application.
