I am a doctoral candidate in Economics at the Florida State University. I am an applied economist with research interests in the fields of labor economics and demographic economics.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from University of Delhi, India and graduated at the top of my class. I like discussing and analyzing socio-economic issues and have won many awards in debating and extempores. I have over three years of work experience in India's leading housing mortgage company, where I studied and analyzed emerging demographic patterns in the home loans market due to recent changes in policy.

I am on the 2010-2011 job market and will be attending the Allied Social Sciences Association's meeting in Denver, CO from January 6-9, 2011.
