about me...

I am a doctoral candidate in the Economics Department at the Florida State University and a teaching assistant for the Ph.D Econometrics courses. I am on the 2010-2011 job market and my research interests include Industrial Organization, Health Economics and Labor Economics. While at Florida State, I have received outstanding graduate student and outstanding doctoral candidate awards. I was also awarded with a dissertation fellowship by the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy.

After getting my Master's degree in Business Economics from University of Delhi, India, I worked as a quantitative researcher for a multinational corporation. The work experience motivated me to further my education and knowledge of empirical research and therefore, I decided to pursue a Ph.D in Economics.
