MATTHEW PODLOGAR

ABOUT

Matthew Podlogar is a doctoral candidate in the Clinical Psychology Program at Florida State University, and a Graduate Research Assistant for the Military Suicide Research Consortium. He graduated with a B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California Berkeley, and conducted post-baccalaureate research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, before joining the Psychology Department at Florida State University. Matt was awarded the FSU Legacy Fellowship in 2013, and has contributed to research publications concerning tests of the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide as well as developing theories of murder-suicide. His current research interests are focused on suicide risk assessment and measurement, specifically regarding issues of stigma, help seeking, and self-report nondisclosure.
