The Big Lebowski

I'm very interested in the web. My interest in the web and all its blogspheres and widgets and readers and feeds is rivaled only by my interest in The Big Lebowski, one of the best movies ever made. And now, you finally know everything there is to know about me.

... but if you're still hanging around, fine. Here are some other links to things I've done online, or things that I find to be absolutely fabulous. Thank you very much for browsing my website, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.

Sketch Comics

I've been wanting to do an original comic strip for a few years now. In mid-March 2009, I stumbled across Sketchory.com, a site that shares thousands of drawings licensed under Creative Commons. This meant that I could use this material for my own means without fear of retribution over silly copyright issues. I began slogging out absurd comics at a feverish rate. Maybe this will eventually inspire me to start that original comic idea of mine someday...

YTMNDs

You're the Man Now Dog started as a simple website with a simple idea: make fun of Finding Forrester. It soon grew into ytmnd.com, a website that lets anyone make fun of anything. You may post a picture or graphic and a soundclip together onto a unique URL designed to maximize your mocking potential. I soon got wrapped up in the phenomenon, but smartly stopped after a round of failed experiments.

Site Credits

This is version 2.0 of my personal website. I have the old homepage of version 1.0 still hosted here, but I've taken down the rest of the site, so the buttons and things won't work. I was pretty proud of this, because I had worked it up from a template made in the '90s, and I had done all my editing by hand in Notepad. It was a tedious venture (the hardest part was putting together those neat looking buttons), but it was a great learning experience, and I had a lot of fun with it.

This site was assembled from a template I found on Open Web Design. I had to do a lot of adjustments to get my old material to fit into this template, but I think it was worth it. It certainly looks better, and it would have looked much, much cooler if my digital camera hadn't broken halfway through the redesign process. If I get it fixed (or get another one), I'll swap out the banner pic at the top of these pages with a pic of my own, and possibly create a different background pic.
