I am an electrical engineer turned economist. I was born and raised in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. After high school
I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area for college and subsequent work as an electrical engineer. Sometime later I stumbled upon
the subject of economics and figured I would pursue a Ph.D. I left for Florida and spent four years completing my Ph.D.
My next stop was the political science department at Duke University. I've been at Duke for a little over a year and love it.
I am entering the economics job market for the first time this year. Hopefully it goes well and I'll be able to update this page
soon with a new destination.
