The Knapp Lab: Nitrogen cycling, especially in the ocean

Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Science Department at Florida State University

The Knapp Lab is recruiting new graduate students for the 2018-2019 academic year

Research Interests

I study the marine nitrogen cycle on a range of temporal and spatial scales, from physiological scales up to ocean-basin scale estimates of fluxes of nitrogen to the ocean based on the distribution of geochemical tracers. One theme of my research is quantifying the magnitudes and isotopic composition of the fluxes of nitrogen to the ocean.
