NHASED Postcards

January 1, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Inglewood, California! Eric M and his future NHASEDer were out west, and made it to beautiful SoFi stadium to watch the intracity battle between the LA Rams and LA Chargers. Sure enough, the home team won. It was the home Chargers defeating the home Rams by a score of 31-10.

Februrary 18, 2023:   NHASED at Home in Tallahassee, Florida! Chad, Michele S, and their future NHASEDer took in the Florida State - Boston College basketball game. Normally, home games do not count for postcards. But, anyone who supported the Noles in the 2022-23 basketball season deserves a point! FSU lost to the Eagles by a score of 75-69.

March 14, 2023:   NHASED at Home in Orlando, Florida! Becki and Matt D, and their future-NHASEDers, attended the FSU-UCF game in Orlando. Things did not go well on the field for the Noles, who lost 14-3.

May 20, 2023:   NHASED at Home in Charlotte, North Carolina! Piet was in attendance for NHASED night (look closely) at the Charlotte Futbal Club game against Nashville. Nashville was the better squad that night and defeated the home team by a score of 2-1.

June 6, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Jim and his future NHASEDer attended the division rivaly between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves. To their disappointment, the home team scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 6th, and an insurance run in the 8th to win the game by a score of 6-4.

June 15, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Daytona Beach, Florida! Chris H found the Michael McDowell ride at the 2023 Florida Truck Driving Championships! Of course, Michael McDowell is a long-time favorite driver of NHASED.

August 16, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Arlington, Texas! As the sign reads, it was the 14th MLB park visited by Jim and his future NHASEDer. Reid Detmers took a no-hitter into the 8th inning and Ohtani hit his 42nd home run of the season, and the Angels beat the Rangers 2-0.

August 26, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Matt D, Becki and their future NHASEDer pulled off the rare football/baseball double header! The day started at US Bank Stadium for the preseason game between the Cardinals and Vikings. The Vikings fell by a score of 18-17.

August 26, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Then, the Drums relocated to Target Field for the Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins game that night. The Rangers scored 4 times in the 9th inning to win the game 6-2.

September 3, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! The FSU stat crew was hired to keep stats for the season opener between Florida State and Louisiana State at Camping World Stadium. From left to right (Scott (non-NHASEDer), Andrew, Pat, Tim, and Nick.

September 3, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! For Nick (left), this is his 5th year on the crew. It is Andrew's 28th. FSU overcame a sluggish first half to totally dominate the Tigers by a final score of 45-24.

September 14, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Boston, Massachusetts! Jason C attended the Yankees vs Red Sox game at Fenway. Aaron Judge hit a grand slam and New York prevailed by a final score of 8-5.

September 26, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Ryan supported his Cubs in their wild card bid. Unfortunately, they played the team with the best record in baseball and the Braves prevailed by by a final score of 7-6.

October 14, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Randy, Ed G, and Eric W took in some auto sport. According to the headlines, a wild Motul Petit Le Mans Sees No. 31 Cadillac Take GTP Title, No. 60 Acura Win Race.

October 28, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Austin, Texas! Brian H supported the visiting Brigham Young Cougars against the Texas Longhorns. The game was one-sided as Texas rolled to a 35-6 win.

November 2, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Seminoles fans posed as Steelers fans for a night. Andrew, Jesse, Nick, Ian, and Olivia cheered on the hometown team on Thursday night. Their support helped as the Steelers defeated the Tennessee Titals by a score of 20-16.

November 4, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! The crew did not support the hometown team on Saturday afternoon. Olivia, Ian, Jesse, Nick, and Andrew returned to Acrisure Stadium on Saturday Jordan Travis and the Seminoles defeated the Pittsburgh Panthers by a score of 24-7.

November 4, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Athens, Georgia! Brian H and Eric R attended the Missouri-Georgia game on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers challenged the 2-time defending champions, but UGA held on by a final score of 30-21.

November 18, 2023:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! Justin was on the road from Orlando, and checked in from Doak Campbell Stadium. It was a day of mixed emotions as the Noles beat North Alabama by a score of 58-13, the seniors and the 2013 national championship team were honored, and Jameis Winston's number was retired. However, our team leader, Jordan Travis suffered a devastating leg injury in the 1st quarter.
