NHASED Postcards

April 18, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Knoxville, Tennessee! Noah attended a socially distanced college baseball game between Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Unfortunately for the home team, the Commodores won the rubber match of the series by a score of 10-4.

June 1, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Phoenix, Arizona! Jim and his son attended the Diamondbacks vs Mets game at Chase Field. Impressive that the 8-year-old future NHASEDer has already visited 10 different big league parks! I can't wait to see how many he's attened when he joins NHASED in 10 years!

June 19, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Uniondale, New York! Tom L. and Jamie Q. attended game 4 of the New York Islanders vs Tampa Bay Lighnting series at Nassau Coliseum in New York. Even though the Lightning lost the game 3-2, they prevailed in the semifinal series and went on to win the Stanley Cup!

August 13, 2021:   NHASED at Home in Tallahassee, Florida! Andrew stopped by the Moore Center to pay respects to Bobby Bowden and his family as he lay in Repose. The legendary coach passed away at the age of 91 on August 8, 2021.

September 2, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Kennesaw, Georgia! Randy, Eric W, and Libby attended the season opener for Kennesaw State. The Owls defeated the visiting Reinhardt Eagles by a score of 35-25.

September 11, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Colin and Tess attended the game between Kennesaw State and Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets beat the Owls by a score of 45-17.

September 12, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Jacksonville, Florida! Tim H, Andrew, and Nick travelled down I-10 East to watch a New Orleans Saints home game. Because of the damage by Hurricane Ida in Louisiana, the Saints used the home field of the Jaguars. They took advantage and blew out the Green Bay Packers by a score of 38-3.

September 21, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Dallas, Texas! Danielle met a couple of college football legends at a conference in Dallas. Tony Dorsett won the Heisman Trophy in 1976.

September 25, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in University Park, Pennsylvania! Jim and his favorite future NHASEDers visited Beaver Stadium to watch Penn State host Villanova. The Nittany Lions had little trouble with the Wildcats, winning 38-17. Equally --- if not more --- exciting for Jim is that he won the week in NHASED!

October 17, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Tim represented NHASED at the National League Division Series on Sunday night and saw the Braves win for the second consecutive night on a walk off hit. The Braves tied the game on 2 close plays at the plate in the 8th, and then won on an Eddie Rosario walkoff single in the 9th.

October 30, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Noah had an opportunity to attend game 4 of the 2021 World Series! The Braves fell behind early, but scored a run in the 6th and 2 in the 7th to pull out the victory and take a series lead of 3-1.

November 6, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Athens, Georgia! Brian H, Anne Elizabeth, and Eric R attended the Missouri-Georgia game in Athens. The Bulldogs won easily by a score of 43-6.

November 10, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Charlotte, North Carolina! Piet attended the men's Conference USA soccer tournament game between Florida Atlantic and UNC Charlotte. The 49ers fell in penalty kicks to the Owls.

November 12, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! Steve H attended the women's NCAA 1st round tournament game between Florida State and South Alabama. The overall #1 seeded Noles dominated to advance to the 2nd round.

November 19, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! Steve H returned to the Seminoles Soccer Complex to watch FSU handle the SMU Mustangs by a score of 5-1. The overall #1 seeded Noles advanced to the sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

November 19, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! Chris H joined his brother at the Seminoles Soccer Complex for the SMU game.

November 20, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Athens, Georgia! Eric W's sister joined him and our current Crete champion Libby between the hedges. Georgia defeated Charleston Southern by a score of 56-7.

November 27, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Gainesville, Florida! Andrew and Nick went to enemy territoy to watch Florida State take on their rivals. The Gators took advantage of some fortunate breaks and a few FSU miscues to win the game 24-21.

December 5, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Scott and his future-NHASEDer took the trip north to Atlanta to watch the Buccaneers play the Falcons. Tom Brady led the Bucs to another win. This one by a score of 30-17.

December 22, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Knoxville, Tennessee! Kristin, Kelly and their future-NHASEDers attended the Arizona at Tennessee basketball game. The Volunteers handed the 6-ranked Wildcats their first loss of the season by a score of 77-73.

December 30, 2021:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Collin, Ed G, Randy, and Eric W attended the Peach Bowl between the Pittsburgh Panthers and Michigan State Spartans. The Spartans rallied in the 4th quarter to win by a score of 31-21.
