NHASED Postcards

January 1, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Tampa, Florida! No bowl for the Seminoles doesn't mean no bowl game for Seminole fans. Andrew and future-NHASEDer Nick attended the Outback Bowl, featuring Mississippi State and Iowa.

January 1, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Tampa, Florida! Andrew had a rooting interest for both teams, but overall was slightly disappointed that his childhood team, the Bulldogs, fell to the alma mater of his mother-in-law in a close game, 27-22.

January 20, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Boston, Massachusetts! Derek attended the Florida State vs Boston College men's basketball game with his bride. Unfortunately, the Seminoles lost to Boston College by a final score of 87-82.

March 19, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Davidson, North Carolina! March Madness, NIT style. Piet attended the 1st round NIT game between Lipscomb and Davidson. The Bisons beat the home-standing Wilcats to advance by a score of 89-81.

April 3, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Randy, sporting his vintage Dale Murphy jersey, took his 4 boys to the Braves/Cub game during opening week of the 2019 season. The Braves won 6-4.

April 14, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Augusta, Georgia! Matt M and his dad scored tickets to the Masters. Tiger Woods made the occasion historical.

April 14, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Augusta, Georgia! For the Sunday round, they had good seats on hole 15, where Tiger Woods birdied and went on to win the tournament.

June 1, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in St. Petersburg, Florida! There was a NHASED party in St. Pete for the Minnesota Twins / Tampa Bay Rays weekend. At the Saturday game, the following NHASEDers and guests attended: First row - Adam (back turned, guest); 2nd row (left to right) - Duski, Kristin, Stacy (guest), Matt D.; Back row - Beth P., Ed B., Jason C. The group watched the Twins prevail by a final score of 6-2.

June 1, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Cincinnati, Ohio! Jim and his future-NHASEDer son chatted with Tom Browning at a Reds game at Great American Ballpark. All parties were disappointed to see the Nationals defeate the home team by a score of 5-2.

June 1, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Athens, Georgia! Andrew happened to be in Atlanta for his future-NHASEDer's baseball tournament, and made the trip over to Athens for the regional game between Florida State and Georgia. The Seminoles defeated the Bulldogs 12-3 to earn the driver's seat position in the regional.

June 8, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! The Seminoles finished off the regional in Athens and advanced to the super regional to face LSU. Andrew happened to be in New Orleans for his future-NHASEDER's baseball tournament, so they made the trip over to Baton Rouge for game 1. The Seminoles defeated the Tigers 6-4 to take a 1-0 lead in the best of three series.

June 22, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in New York, New York! Jim and his future-NHASEDer son went to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to watch the Yankees host the Houston Astros. The Yankees defeated the Astros by a score of 7-5.

July 5, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in New York, New York! Tom L and Jamie Q were in Shea Stadium in Flushing Meadows to watch the Mets host the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies scored 5 in the top of the 9th and won the game 7-2.

July 5, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in New York, New York! Despite the Mets loss, I'd still call it a successful weekend as these two NHASEDers got engaged!

July 12, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Chicago, Illinois! Jason C and former NHASEDer, Dave were in Chi-town and visited Wrigley Field for the Cubs versus Pirates.

July 12, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Chicago, Illinois! Harry Caray would have been proud of Jason C's seat location, and also the Cubs win . . . thhhhaaaa Cubs Win!

July 29, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Frankfurt, Germany! Chris H and his future-NHASEDer daughter at the Annual Opernspiele in Frankfurt, Germany!

July 31, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Frankfurt, Germany! Steve found a mechanical bull at the 2019 Opera Games in Frankfurt, Germany!

July 31, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! Despite the rainy weather, Danielle and family enjoyed the MLS All-Star game. Atletico Madrid defeated the MLS All-Star team by a score of 3-0.

August 23, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! As part of the annual NHASED Convention, members took part in a "Drink Around the World" ceremony at Disney's Epcot Center and took this postcard. Members pictured (from left to right): Jason C, Chad, Matt D, Becki, Tim H, Sara, Andrew, and Piet.

September 7, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Knoxville, Tennessee! Noah met some friendly BYU fans before the Cougars took on the Volunteers at Neyland Stadium. The game went into overtime where BYU prevailed by a score of 29-26. The good news for Tennessee is that they began selling beer at games starting with this one.

September 28, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Tuscaloosa, Alabama! Collin, Eric W, and Ed G took a trip west to catch the Crimson Tide game against the Ole Miss Rebels. It was not much of a contest as Bamer routed Hoddy Toddy by a final score of 59-31.

October 7, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in St. Petersburg, Florida! Brian T and Zanne witnessed playoff baseball in the state of Florida! They were on hand for Game 3 of the ALDS and saw the Tampa Bay Rays defeat the Houston Astroes by a score of 10-3. The game was so thrilling for Rays fans, that this selfie was the best they could do for a postcard.

October 12, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Kennesaw, Georgia! Libby (right) and non-NHASEDer Gabby (left) attended the KSU Owls versus the Charleston Southern Buccaneers game in Kennesaw. The homestanding Owls prevailed by a score of 45-23.

October 26, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! After writing letters of kindness to the Florida State Football team in a time of struggle, the 3rd graders at Buck Lake Elementary and their teacher, Mrs. Schmidt got to meet President John Thrasher, and go on the field before the FSU vs. Syracuse game.

October 26, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee, Florida! Future NHASEDer Wyatt, and Kristin enjoyed the Seminoles take care of Syracuse by a score of 35-17 on Homecoming. It was Wyatt's first FSU football game.

November 9, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts! NHASED was well represented at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill to watch the Seminoles defeat Boston College 38-31.

November 9, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts! With the noon kickoff and sun shining, it wasn't as cold as last year in South Bend for Andrew and Tim. The game was more enjoyable too!

November 9, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts! Rookie NHASEDer Jake made the trip to Boston with Jason T to learn about postcard karma.

December 23, 2019:   NHASED on the Road in University Park, Pennsylvania! Michele S and Chad visit Chad's alma mater, Penn State University.
