NHASED Postcards

June 11, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Gainesville (Hogtown), Florida! Chris H and family attended the FSU vs Florida Super-Regional game in Hogtown. They picked the right game to attend as FSU came away with a stunning 3-0 win over the #1 seed Gators!

June 28, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in New York, New York! Scott was in New York City to visit hallowed Yankee Stadium where the Texas Rangers challenged the New York Yankees. The Rangers scored 5 runs in the 8th inning and won by a final score of 7-1.

August 7, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Bieber, Germany! While in Frankfurt, Germany, Steve and Chris visited relatives in the small town of Bieber, and caught a soccer game between the home team of SV Germania Bieber and FV Ayyildizspor from Wachtersbach. Ayyildizspor took the lead with a penalty kick just before halftime. Early in the second half, Bieber tied it up, and then scored another goal to make it 2-1 for Bieber. However, Ayyildizspor then scored 4 unanswered goals for a final score of 5-2 for Ayyildizspor. The locals think that the unseasonably warm weather might have been a factor in the loss.

August 7, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Bieber, Germany! Obviously, this beer (for the referee) was bought by Ayyildizspor fans.

September 5, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! Several NHASEDers made the trip to Orlando for the FSU-Ole Miss game on Labor Day. This picture was taken by Justin prior to the game.

September 5, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Orlando, Florida! Jason C was a part of the predominately pro-Seminole crowd. They were loud, and cheered the Noles to a come-from-behind 45-34 victory over the Ole Miss Rebels.

September 10, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Bristol, Tennessee! Noah was part of the 156,990 fans who watched the Tennessee-Virginia Tech game at the Bristol Motor Speedway. He helped shatter the NCAA record of most fans at a game.

September 10, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Bristol, Tennessee! Noah reported that it was a challenge getting to his seats, and he missed the 1st quarter. But, he was consoled by his Volunteers, who rallied from a 14-point deficit to defeat the Hokies by a score of 45-24.

September 16, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Hamilton, Ontario (Canada)! In his efforts to promote NHASED across borders, NHASED attended a Canadian Football League game in Hamilton, Ontario. The homestanding Tiger-Cats defeated the Montreal Allouettes by a score of 20-17 on a 10-yard field goal as time expired.

October 8, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Charlotte, North Carolina! Andrew and Piet attended a game-watching party hosted by the Charlotte Seminoles Booster Club. FSU defeated Miami 20-19 thanks to a late blocked extra point after the Hurricanes had scored seemingly the tying touchdown.

October 10, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Charlotte, North Carolina! Andrew attended the Monday Night Football game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers. In this postcard, Andrew (and some random guy in front of me) took a picture of the Panthers scoring a touchdown. In the same end zone, FSU alumnus Roberto Aguayo kicked a game-winning field (after missing 2 earlier attempts) and the Bucs won by a final score of 17-14.

October 29, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Chicago, Illinois! Sara and Ryan went to game 4 of the 2016 World Series at Wrigley Field. Unfortunately for Cub fans, the Cleveland Indians won the game by a score of 7-2 to take a 3-1 lead in the series.

October 30, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Chicago, Illinois! Jason T and Jason R had a chance to attend Game 5 of the 2016 World Series at Wrigley Field in Chicago. They were all smiles after the game with David Ross because the Cubbies won with "Grandpa Rossy" behind the plate by a score of 3-2.

October 30, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Chicago, Illinois! Before the game, Jason T and Jason R hung out with former Chicago Cub great, Rick Sutcliff, on a rooftop outside of Wrigley Field.

November 25, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Brooklyn, New York! Derek and Wahwah supported the FSU Seminoles in Brooklyn, New York at the consolation game of the NIT Tip-off tournament. FSU defeated the Illinois Illini by a score of 72-61 to claim third place.

December 4, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Seattle, Washington! NHASEDers Chris R and Zanne were in Seattle, Washington for the Panthers-Seahawks Sunday night football game. Seattle crushed Carolina by a score of 41-7.

December 22, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Sunrise, Florida! Jason C was in attendance, along with friends Mimi and Melissa, as NHL history was made. The Boston Bruins defeated the Florida Pathers by a score of 3-1. Jaromir Jagr of the Panthers broke a tie with Mark Messier for No. 2 on the NHL career points list.

December 30, 2016:   NHASED on the Road in Miami Gardens, Florida! Andrew and family followed the Seminoles down to the Orange Bowl to watch a classic between Florida State and Michigan. It was a wild game that started with Renegade toppling over backwards as the teams took the field, and ended with a 12-yard pass from Francois to Nyquan Murray with less than a minute on the clock. The PAT was blocked and returned for two points, but the Seminoles won by a final score of 33-32.
