NHASED Postcards

January 1, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Jacksonville, Florida! Andrew took his future-NHASEDers to Jacksonville to watch his second-favorite University --- Mississippi State --- take on Northwestern in the Gator Bowl. Unfortunately, the Wildcats beat the Bulldogs for their first bowl victory since 1949. Fortunately, we made it back home in plenty of time to watch FSU trounce Northern Illinois in the Orange Bowl.

May 29, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in New York, New York! Scott was in New York City and took in the Mets versus Yankees interleague baseball game in Yankee Stadium. To his delight, the Mets jumped out early and cruised to a 9-4 win over the homestanding Yankees.

May 31, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Dan and family attended the Atlanta Braves game against the Washington Nationals. Strasburg started for the Nationals, but was replaced in the 2nd inning due to injury. Washington defeated the homestanding Braves 3-2. This picture is of Dan on the field postgame.

May 31, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! Dan is pictured with his future-NHASEDer Jack in the tunnel waiting to walk out onto the field in the postgame. This is the first NHASED postcard taken on a cell-phone and it could be a trend-starter.

June 5, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta, Georgia! The true businessman's special. Steve attended the afternoon game between Atlanta and Pittsburgh, and sat in Braves Suite #51. The Braves beat the Pirates 5-0. Julio Teheran took a no-hitter into the 8th inning.

September 7, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Athens, Georgia! Eric W and his wife Libby tailgated with their daughter (and University of Georgia student) prior to the South Carolina - Georgia SEC East tilt in Athens. Georgia bounced back from their loss against Clemson in week 1 to defeat Steve Spurrior and the Gamecocks by a score of 41-30.

October 15, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Nashville, Tennessee! Steve scored luxury box seats for the Florida Panthers at Nashville Predators hockey game. The Predators held on for a 4-3 win.

October 17, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Knoxville, Tennessee! Steve stopped by Neyland Stadium in Knoxville to take an unguided and unapproved tour.

October 19, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Knoxville, Tennessee! A couple of days after Steve's impromptu visit to Neyland Stadium, Noah enjoyed Tennessee's upset victory over Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks by a score of 23-21. Noah was disppointed to learn that a couple of guys nearby were not actually from the show Duck Dynasty, though I am sure they have spent some time in the woods.

November 30, 2013:   NHASED on the Road in Gainesville, Florida! Chris H, Andrew, and Steve went to enemy territory to watch Florida State complete an undefeated regular season and move to #1 in the nation (thanks to Auburn defeating Alabama on a missed FG return for a TD) by defeating the Florida Gators 37-7. What made the day even better was that the win came over the hated Florida Gators in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, completed their miserable 4-8 season, was their worst defeat ever at home to FSU, and strengthened Jameis Winston's bid for the Heisman Trophy. And, the weather was perfect. Not a bad day all-in-all. That is an official NHASED postcard pulled up on Steve's phone.
