NHASED Postcards

September 27, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the River City Showdown! The FSU football stat crew, which includes Brian T, Steve, and Andrew worked at the Colorado-FSU game. FSU dominated the ground game, played great on special teams and won 39-21.

September 27, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the River City Showdown! The stat crew attended Bobby Bowden's post-game press conference, where Steve peppered the legendary coach on topics such as his success in Jacksonville and the advice that he offers to Jimbo Fisher. Given that FSU won 39-21, Coach Bowden did not mind fielding all questions that night.

October 4, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in the infield of Talladega Super Speedway! Shortly after watching the big victory by FSU over Miami . . . Steve, Andrew, and Eric W celebrate in the infield of Talladega at the Hooters Hall of Fame. We found out that the night before the big race is truly a spectacle.

October 4, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in Miami! Chris H enjoys the beach with Avery before the FSU-Miami game. The weather at the game was not as nice, but FSU defeated Miami in the rain, 41-39.

October 5, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in the infield of Talladega Super Speedway! Andrew and Steve pose for a postcard on the infield at turn 2 during the AMP Energy 500, won by Tony Stewart in a controversial finish.

October 18, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the Peachtree City, NHASED-Sponsored, 5K! Andrew, Dan, Steve and Bill finished the race under their own power, and pose for a postcard at the finish line of the inaugural NHASED-Sponsored 5K in Peachtree City, Georgia.

November 1, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta! Steve, Ed, Bill and Dan enjoy tailgating before the FSU-Georgia Tech game.

November 1, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in Atlanta! The Noles lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Jackets (31-28) on a fumble in the end zone as time was running out. As hard as it was, true Nole fans and NHASEDers (Steve and Bill in front row, Dan and Ed in back row) fight through their obvious disappointment and pose for a postcard as the fans rush the field in the background.

November 15, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in Tallahassee! Derek visited Tallahassee for Homecoming weekend, and was invited to sit in the President's Box for the Florida State-Boston College game. Even though the Noles lost to BC, Derek and his friend John were able to enjoy the perks of the experience, including having their photograph taken with FSU president (and former Seminole wide receiver), T.K. Wetherell.

December 5, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Championship Game! Andrew, Steve and Brian were invited to the ACC Legends party on Friday night. Tiki Barber was the honoree for Virginia. In this picture, Steve attempts to explain the NHASED postcard to Tiki while Andrew diverts his brother, Rhonde. We are expecting to hear from their lawyer any day. Andrew holds a children's book that the two wrote and graciously signed for a future NHASEDer. To the far right is one of the Barber brother's dates.

December 5, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Championship Game! Danny Kanell was the honoree for FSU. He was happy to see other FSU folks at the party, and we talked about the improvements made this year. He was happy to pose for a NHASED postcard. He and Tiki took a few jabs at one another as to if Warrick Dunn got in the end zone in 1995.

December 6, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Championship Game! After the ACC Championship (which Virginia Tech defeated Boston College 30-12), the NHASEDers on the official ACC stat crew take a quick picture on the pitch of Raymond James Stadium.

December 6, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Championship Game! We ran into the BC party hat guy in the parking lot after the game. We even invited another stat crew member (non-NHASEDer, Pat) into the picture.

December 14, 2008:   NHASED on the Road in Baltimore, Maryland! Tim traveled to Baltimore and attended the Ravens versus the Pittsburgh Steelers game. The Steelers spoiled the day for the home crowd by scoring a late touchdown to win 13-9 and clinch the AFC North championship.

December 27, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the Champs Sports Bowl! Andrew and family attended the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando, Florida featuring Florida State and Wisconsin.

December 27, 2008:   NHASED on the Road at the Champs Sports Bowl! Florida State blew out the Wisconsin Badgers in the Champs Sports Bowl in Orlando.
