NHASED Postcards

February 4, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the Super Bowl! Jeff C took this picture outside of Dolphin Stadium prior to the big game (and 4-quarter deluge of rain). The Indianapolis Colts went on to defeat the Chicago Bears by a score of 29-17.

March 8, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Tournament! Andrew and the stat crew prepare to work game 1 (FSU/Clemson) of the ACC Tournament in Tampa, Florida. Florida State would go on to win the game on a free throw by Al Thornton in the waning seconds.

March 9, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Tournament! Andrew met up with Jeff C before day 2 began (FSU/UNC) to pose for this postcard.  In the background are Roy Williams, and FSU basketball SID Chuck Walsh saying hello to former FSU coach, Steve Robinson.

July 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the "Rocklahoma" Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma! This picture was taken after three days in the hot sun outside of Tulsa for the the first annual "Rocklahoma" Festival in July (and after rocking out to Warrant, Skid Row, Winger, Dokken, Vince Neil, White Lion, Quiet Riot, Firehouse, Ratt, Poison, Slaughter, Jackyl and Great White, amongst others). Rookie Chris R. and Zanne were going to get more beer before Queensryche and Twisted Sister went on to end the weekend, when they noticed that in between two of the tents leading to the VIP area, Jani Lane of Warrant was just standing there. Chris asked him if they could get a picture. He agreed, so Zanne hurriedly scribbled "NHASED Rocklahoma 2007" on a piece of paper and got him to hold it up.

September 1, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the Big House! Brian W attended the historical game between Appalachian State and Michigan. Click here for full version of this picture.

September 1, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the Big House! As the halftime score indicates, Michigan was in big trouble on this day. September 2, 2007:   NHASED on the Road goes to Lake Burton! NHASED on the Road enjoys boating, swimming, various other water sports, good eating, and cards well in to the night at Eric W's lakehouse on Lake Burton. September 3, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Clemson - Death Valley! We scored field passes (pregame and halftime) for the game. Andrew and Steve stormed the tunnel with the team pregame. Brian and Andrew watched a good part of the 3rd quarter from the field. This picture depicts Steve getting the team fired up to rush the field. Unfortunately, our efforts were fruitless as FSU came out flat and were dominated in the 1st half. We did make a game out of it in the 2nd half and lost 24-18. September 13, 2007:   NHASED on the Road in Colorado Springs, Colorado! To get into football mode for the CU/FSU game on Saturday, Piet and Drum took in the pageantry of an Air Force game. They brought victory as Air Force upset TCU in overtime.

September 15, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Boulder, Colorado! Here are Piet, Andrew and Matt D at the pregame tailgate party in Boulder, Colorado. The Seminole faithful represented in our first-ever trip to Boulder, and we ran into Nole fans whereever we went during our stay in the Rockies.

September 15, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Boulder, Colorado! Ralphie was fired up, but the Buffs didn't put a point on the board until late in the game.

September 15, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Boulder, Colorado! As mentioned, the Seminole faithful showed up in great numbers. Here is a sample, with comfortable 4th Quarter lead enjoyed by the fans and team.

September 15, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Boulder, Colorado! Seminoles Win! It wasn't pretty and the score was indicative.  But, the Noles won thanks to defense and kicking, and we all had a happy ending to a great trip.

September 29, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the River City Showdown! The Florida State stat crew worked at the River City Showdown, featuring Alabama and Florida State.  It was great atmopshere for college football and both teams responded to the amped-up, stadium-record crowd, who were split evenly in Jacksonville Memorial Stadium. The Seminoles recorded its first-ever victory over Alabama by a score of 21-14.

November 3, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Chestnut Hill, Mass! Piet and Jason C brave the rain, wind and cold to support the Florida State Seminoles in Massachusetts.

November 3, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Chestnut Hill, Mass! This photo was sent via camera phone to the commissioner in Tallahassee at halftime.

November 3, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at Chestnut Hill, Mass! The Seminoles win! By a score of 27-17, the Seminoles upset the 2nd rank Boston College Eagles!

November 23, 2007:   NHASED on the Road in the U.S. Virgin Islands! Kyle was in the Virgin Islands during the annual NCAA preseason basketball tournament . . the Paradise Jam.

November 24, 2007:   NHASED on the Road in Swamp! Chris H ventured DEEEEEEP into enemy territory to watch the Noles lose terribly to the hated Crocs by a score of 45-12. Chris did get to witness the longest field goal in FSU history . . . a 60-yarder by Gary Cismesia.

December 1, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the ACC Championship! Brian T and Andrew were once again a part of the official stat crew in Jacksonville at the 3rd ACC Championship. This game featured Virginia Tech and Boston College, with the Hokies winning a good game by a score of 30-16.

December 1, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the SEC Championship! Eric W wrangled luxury box seats at the SEC Championship Game in the Georgia Dome.

December 1, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the SEC Championship! LSU won the game 21-14, and with some good fortune later in the day (West Virginia and Missouri both lost), earned a berth into the National Championship game.

December 31, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the Music City Bowl! Dan and Andrew scored great seats at the Music City Bowl to watch a depleted FSU team battle the Kentucky Wildcats. The Noles battled hard, but fell by a final score of 35-28.

December 31, 2007:   NHASED on the Road at the Music City Bowl! The game was tied at halftime when the final postcard of NHASED on the Road in 2007 was taken. FSU fell behind late in the game, but battled back to have a shot to tie on the last play of the game. The hail mary was incomplete and the Noles were defeated.
